Bryce Norris races into World of Outlaws feature at Tri-State Speedway

Bryce Norris ventured into Illinois on Friday to take on the nation’s best with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series at Jacksonville Speedway, where 35 Sprint Cars assembled for the Hy-Vee Perks 40.

Norris qualified 22nd overall before finishing eighth in his heat race. Needing a strong run in the Last Chance Showdown to secure a feature spot, his night came to an early end with a ninth-place finish in the consolation event.

Shifting to familiar territory on Saturday, Norris returned to Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana. He earned his way into the $12,000-to-win feature with a fifth-place effort in the Last Chance Showdown. Lining up 23rd on the grid, Norris gained one position during the 40-lap A-Main to cross the line in 22nd.
