Norris joins Outlaws at Tri-State; MOWA and IRA starts on upcoming agenda
Although Mother Nature did her best to ruin all hope for action during the recent weekend, Terre Haute, Indiana's Bryce Norris finally had his opportunity, joining the Greatest Show On Dirt in a Sunday evening appearance at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana. Postponed to Sunday due to oversaturation on Saturday, the World of Outlaws Southern Indiana Showdown featured the best in the business, welcoming nearly 30 total competitors including a stout contingent of the region's most talented representatives.
When the dust finally settled in Haubstadt, Norris, a former MOWA winner, found himself with an A-Main start, earning his way into the big dance via Last Chance Showdown where he was victorious. Norris went on to start 19th in the evening's 40-lap main event; he was scored 23rd.
If all goes according to schedule, Norris will continue his 2026 campaign with starts at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Illinois, and Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin, on Friday and Saturday, May 1-2. The programs will feature MOWA and IRA, respectively.
