Norris opens 2026 with two-day visit to I-55; Jacksonville and Tri-State on deck
The 2026 season is finally underway for Terre Haute, Indiana's Bryce Norris, joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in a two-day visit to I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park in Pevely, Missouri, on Friday and Saturday, April 10-11. Although unable to qualify for Friday's main event, concluding action in the evening's Last Chance Showdown, the former Midwest Open Wheel Association (MOWA) winner rebounded big, racing on to qualify for Saturday's 40-lap finale before finishing 16th; he started eighth.
The end result was something to be said for the Hoosier State wheelman, as some of the best open wheel aces in the country were on hand to battle on the south St. Louis highbanks. Norris' evening commenced with a runner-up result in his respective heat race - he started on the pole.
Bryce Norris will continue his 2026 season with another World of Outlaws weekend, this time joining the Series in an Illinois and Indiana double at Jacksonville Speedway and Tri-State Speedway, respectively. To learn more, visit the Greatest Show On Dirt online at www.woosprint.com.
