Norris visits I-55 for World of Outlaws' Ironman 55
Bryce Norris was one of 37 drivers to take on the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 over the weekend for the doubleheader.
His weekend began with Friday’s Night Before the Ironman, where his bid for a feature start came up short with a B-Main exit. However, Norris showed notable improvement on Saturday.
He qualified 12th in his group, then finished sixth in his heat race and fourth in the Last Chance Showdown to earn a spot in the $25,000-to-win Ironman 55. Rolling off from the 12th row, Norris advanced five positions in the 55-lap main event to come home 19th.
